A reprint of this rare book describing the diary of a young Cherokee maiden as she attended school at the Brainerd Mission in  Tennessee and then ventured out to begin a school near her home town of  Creek Path in Alabama.  Some of her original letters and diary are used as the basis of this material originally printed in the early 1820s, a year or so after her death.
