Cherokee Made Easy.
A Cherokee Language study in booklet form and compact disc containing vocabulary, sentences, common phrases, and explanation of syllabary with instruction on how to read and write.
Prentice Robinson is a native Cherokee (almost one half), who has spoken the language since preschool. He is a retired school teacher, and has served as Education Director for the Cherokee Heritage Center at Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
In 1974, before the preparation of this study, Cherokee people, then above ninety years of age, were asked their opinion about how the language should be recorded for teaching.
"Should it be stated in the shortened versions of common usage, or given in full pronunciation of each syllable required to write the words?"
The answer was emphatic:
"Present it in complete pronunciation and as accurate as possible."
This is Robinson's intention with every project. Many satisfied students have reported ease of usage, as compared to no other language study program. No other is so clear and simplified.
One CD with 68 page booklet in a plastic album. Words and phrases given in English then repeated in Cherokee. $45.00
